Meet Wayne Nance
Founder / Lead Coach
Wayne E. Nance, better known as the “Real Life Attitude Guy”, is the well-known developer of the ABCs of getting your life under control. He is founder and CEO of Real Life Management, Inc. With his help, more than 50,000 struggling people have successfully improved their lives and given Wayne credit for helping them do so. Top corporations, the U. S. Army, organizations, and churches throughout the United States also use the Life Management system for the benefit of their employees and leaders. Wayne has been called Dr. Phil Foxworthy, a funny guy with a serious message.
A few years ago, at 305 pounds, an incessant smoker, $40,000 in credit card debt, and his marriage on the rocks, Wayne’s life had spiraled completely out of control. He was a card-carrying workaholic, sacrificing family for fortune. In fact, he was on the ragged edge of physical, financial, emotional, and marital disaster. At the age of twenty-nine, his cardiologist told Wayne he would probably never see forty.
Hitting bottom, reality finally slapped Wayne in the face and made him acknowledge the truth. So he began doing extensive research on nutrition, finances, and relationships. Soon he recognized that obesity, debt, and crumbling relationships are only visible exhibits of a person’s core attitudes and beliefs. They are interrelated and attitude driven.
For the next eight years, Wayne did extensive research traveling the country with a clinical stress psychologist, a sports nutritionist, and a personality therapist, studying what motivates people in their physical, financial, and personal choices. Wayne discovered that being overweight, in debt, and in failing relationships is all interrelated and attitude based.
Based on his research and the changes that followed in his core beliefs and personal habits, Wayne lost more than one hundred pounds, eliminated his financial debt, and has now been happily married to his wife Shannon for more than forty-eight years.
I lost everything—my marriage, my home, over $8 million in assets—and ended up homeless, sleeping in my truck and showering at a gym just to survive. I was 303lbs labeled bipolar manic-depressive alcoholic and nearly ended my life. But that wasn’t the end of my story—it was the beginning.
Through the tools of Real Life Management, I discovered that my struggles weren’t a life sentence—they were rooted in stress, belief systems, and choices shaped by pain. In just three months, I was off all medications. In 1 year, I lost 80 pounds. I rebuilt my mindset, my body, and my future. Most importantly, I found purpose.
Today, I use my story and the Real Life Management system to help people break through stress, emotional chaos, and limiting beliefs. I coach individuals and teams to lead themselves well—so they can show up with confidence, clarity, and conviction in every area of life.
If you're ready to stop surviving and start rebuilding, I'm here to walk that road with you.
Coach that Speaks TRUTH in Love, Schedules for LESS Stress, and Vocalizes DOESN'T Internalize
After working and leading in the church for 15 years, managing in Corporate America for over 15 years, an undergrad in Business Administration and a Master's Degree, I realized I was going through the same cycle with no breakthroughs. While training with Real Life Management, I learned I was too soft as a leader, did not have a firm foundation, and had a belief system that was out of wack due to false beliefs, which Zig Ziglar says was due to my “Stinking Thinking.” Over the course of 12+ years, I was trained with the founder, Wayne Nance, in Car Dealerships, Financial Corporations, City groups, Military Personal, School Districts, Churches, Minor league sports, and with individuals. I learned it was my "Attitude" that kept me stuck and I had to re-learn how to live my best life.
There are three things that I focus on in my family and in training with individuals and businesses. First, I have learned to SPEAK TRUTH IN LOVE, which means telling people what they need to know about themselves even if it doesn't feel good. Secondly, stress is the biggest cause of death in America and my goal is to work with individuals or businesses in the areas of Relationships, Finances, Health & Wellness, Communications, and Team Work, to maximize performance and profits which means to SCHEDULE FOR LESS STRESS. Thirdly, individuals need to VOCALIZE NOT INTERNALIZE. People need to learn to speak what they are feeling about life. It starts by knowing your attitude about life, so join us by first taking the 3 minute survey and begin your journey with us at RLM.
